Kathmandu. The National Examination Board (NEB) has published the schedule for supplementary examinations for the students who have secured non-graded i.e. 9NG in class 12 results.
The exam will be held from 11 am to 2 pm on July 15 and 19. On July 17, there will be an examination of compulsory English, all the candidates who take the exam in only one subject and the subject with a small code number for the examination in two subjects. Similarly, for the candidates appearing for the examination in two subjects on July 19, the examination of the subjects with the highest code number will be conducted.
Candidates who have obtained minimum or higher grade in other subjects towards the theoretical side and have obtained (NG) in the remaining two subjects or those who have obtained 9 D or above in other subjects towards the theoretical side and are absent in the remaining two subjects will be eligible to appear in this examination.
To participate in the grade increase examination, the students have to pay a fee of Rs 800 to the board’s account by July 3. As the fee can be paid within this period, the applicant has to pay Rs 1,600 including late fee and submit the application form to the office of the board along with a voucher or certified copy of the online payment through the concerned school.
The results of Grade 12 examination have been made public today. According to the National Examination Board, 69. 75 percent of the students have passed. A total of 3,32,241 students appeared for the exam this year and 2,31,770 passed.
Students who are not satisfied with the results can apply by paying a fee of Rs 1,000 per subject. The applicants can submit their application through the board’s website within 7 days from the date of publication of the result.
