Kathmandu. Deepmala Dhakal has won the title of Miss Nepal World 2026. She won the prestigious crown defeating 23 contestants in the grand finale organized by The Hidden Treasure in Kathmandu on Saturday.
Deepmala was also the winner of Miss Nepal Hong Kong International 2025. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics and has worked with Blackrock, a world-renowned investment management company. However, with the intention of fulfilling her mother’s unfulfilled dream, she decided to leave her lucrative job and come to Nepal to participate in the Miss Nepal pageant.
Her mother Roshani Kharel had participated in the first Miss Nepal pageant in 1994. After three decades, her daughter Deepmala has been crowned Miss Nepal.
Apart from the beauty pageant, Deepmala is also a taekwondo player and marathon runner. She has also been active in the Non-Resident Nepali Community.
Arya Nishant was crowned Miss Nepal International 2026 and Koshis Subba was crowned Miss Nepal Cosmo 2026. The winners will represent Nepal at an international beauty pageant.
