Toll fee to be collected on Nagdhunga tunnel road from November 30

Kathmandu. The Nagdhunga Tunnel Road Construction Project has decided to collect toll fee from the vehicles using the tunnel from November 30. The Development Assistance Implementation Division under the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development issued a notice today stating that it will collect toll fee from the vehicles using the tunnel from November 30.

According to the decision of the Executive Committee of the Road Board of Nepal, on September 28, 2083 and the notice published in the Nepal Gazette on April 26, 2082, the project is going to start collecting the fees.

According to the notice, the vehicles have been classified into four categories and separate fees have been fixed for the vehicles entering Kathmandu and departing from Kathmandu. (Car, van, pickup, tractor, micro bus and other light vehicles) It has been decided to charge Rs 65 for entering Kathmandu and Rs 60 for departing from Kathmandu.

(Minibus, Mini Tipper Truck) will charge Rs 115 for entering Kathmandu and Rs 80 for departing from Kathmandu. Buses and trucks with single rear axle will be charged Rs 260 to enter Kathmandu and Rs 200 to depart from Kathmandu. Multi-axle truckers and heavy equipment will be charged Rs 600 entering Kathmandu and Rs 250 for departing Kathmandu.
