Kathmandu. The reconstruction of Gahana Pokhari, one of the famous historical heritage sites located in Hadigaun of Kathmandu, is currently underway. The reconstruction work is being carried out at the initiative of Kathmandu Metropolitan City under the Heritage Site Conservation and Urban Development Programme.

The reconstruction of the pond and its surrounding structures is going on at the initiative of Kathmandu Metropolitan City. The pond will be constructed in its old style at a cost of Rs 52 to 55 lakh.
