Ballot papers for 124 constituencies in 58 districts completed

Kathmandu. According to the Election Commission, the printing of ballot papers has been completed in 124 constituencies of 58 districts. A total of 1,57,78,000 ballot papers have been printed till yesterday, according to the EC.

The EC has started sending ballot papers to 10 districts of Karnali Province. The transportation process has been started for 12 constituencies where printing has been completed.

The ballot papers were sent to the electoral constituencies of Salyan, Rukum (West), Dolpa, Mugu, Humla, Kalikot, Jumla, Jajarkot, Dailekh and Surkhet districts, said EC assistant spokesperson Prakash Neupane.

According to the EC, 14,341 ballot boxes have been packed so far. Around 1,000 ballot boxes are being packed and up to 1.5 million ballot papers are being printed daily.

Ballot papers for the election to the House of Representatives are being printed at Janak Education Materials Centre Limited, Sanothimi. According to the EC, 1 million 98 thousand 200 sample ballot papers have been printed and sent to various districts in the first phase.
