Kathmandu.  Former King Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah has returned to Kathmandu after four months from Jhapa.

He was given a grand welcome by royalist and nationalist supporters at Tribhuvan International Airport. Supporters gathered outside the main gate of the airport, chanting slogans of “King come, save the country”. Royalist groups including the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) have welcomed the former king.
