‘Ek Mutthi Badal’ to release in Nepal on May 1

Kathmandu. Nepali feature film Ek Muthi Badal: My Share of Sky is going to be released on May 1 next year. On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the film has been released on May 15, 2018.

The film is jointly produced by Gaunthali Entertainment and Mann Productions. The movie will be distributed in Nepal by RR Films.

The movie which presents the emotional ups and downs of three generations will present the expectations, sacrifices and personal aspirations of family members in the backdrop of fast changing Nepali society in an interesting way.

The film is written and directed by Sahara Sharma. Sahara, who lives in New York, USA, had earlier directed a film titled Chasing Rainbows, which was the opening film of Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival in 2013.

Sahara became the youngest female director to inaugurate the festival with a fiction feature and won the top prize in Nepali Panorama.

A handful of clouds has also achieved many international achievements.
