Kathmandu. KATHMANDU — The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has kicked off an orientation and orientation programme for the newly-elected parliamentarians.

The two-day orientation programme began in Lalitpur on Tuesday. Vice-presidents of the party, Dol Prasad Aryal and Dr. Swarnim Wagle inaugurated the event by ringing the bell.

Newly elected first-past-the-post and proportional representation lawmakers are participating in the program. The party had won 182 seats in the House of Representatives. Since most of its lawmakers are new, the RSP has organized the 2-day workshop for orientation and training on parliamentary practice and code of conduct.

The orientation will impart training to the lawmakers on parliamentary practices, policy formulation, working procedure of the parliament, responsibilities of people’s representatives and policies to be adopted by the party.
