Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane has insisted on the need of unity and fearlessness and nation-centric politics in the party.

Addressing an orientation programme organised by the RSP here on Wednesday, he urged all cadres to give up factional politics and all cadres should be united under one roof.

“We have to open the loop that comes to our eyes, otherwise we will not have to wait for 36 months or even 36 days to believe in the old political parties,” he said. Because as a lawmaker, your race is not in the house of interest groups, Congress and UML cannot win by forming factions, friends, there is no need to form any faction, we can fit everything under the bell. Bell has so much power that there is no need to form any faction,” he said.

Stating that they were neither afraid nor wavering even when different forces stood together, he said they were able to move ahead because they had faith in citizen’s consciousness.

Lamichhane said that the time has come to show the results and he is preparing to show his strength through the election.

“Even when all the forces of this country stood together, we did not gain our feet, we did not get scared,” he said. We didn’t move. Because we believed in the consciousness of the citizens. We waited for 84 years for the election to come and we would show it. ’

He warned the party cadres that if they failed to come out of the politics centered on the country, the situation would be worse than that of the leaders of the old political parties.

“We need to work immediately to solve the problems that are visible in our eyes, otherwise the people will not wait for long like the old parties,” he said.

He also warned that the situation would be worse than the old political parties if the country-centric politics could not be carried out by giving up personal interests and greed for position.

“I should not be focused on my position and position, but should be able to keep the country at the centre,” he said, adding, “What will be my position, where will I be, what will be my position in the party, what will be my position in the parliament, what will be my position in the government, if I cannot come out of the centered politics, it will be worse than the leaders of the old political parties.” So don’t put yourself at the center. ’
