NC central committee meeting today

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting of the Nepali Congress is taking place on Tuesday.

The central committee meeting is taking place at 1:00 pm at the central office in Sanepa, Lalitpur.

Nepali Congress (NC) President Gagan Kumar Thapa will attend the party’s central committee meeting for the first time after the election.

He was absent from the meeting that began last Friday. The meeting held on Sunday had rejected Thapa’s resignation.

Thapa has called the party’s working committee meeting again after his resignation was rejected following the party’s humiliating defeat in the election.

The meeting is expected to review the election and discuss the party’s 15th general convention.
