Pumdikot adds new dimension to tourism in Pokhara (Seven photos)

Kathmandu. This place has become a tourist destination with the construction of a huge statue of Mahadev in Pumdikot of Pokhara Valley. Pokhara is becoming popular as a new destination for domestic and foreign tourists.

A 51 feet tall statue of Lord Shiva has been erected in Pumdikot. The structures with statues have been constructed here with the aim of making it a religious tourism hub. A total of 108 Shivalingas, Damaru, Kalash and other structures have been constructed in around 22 ropanis of land.

Pumdikot, which is located at a distance of 13 kilometers from Pokhara Bazaar, offers panoramic views of the mountain range, Sarangkot, Fewa Lake and Pokhara area. Hundreds of tourists have started arriving in Pumdikot every day. See the rest of the image:
