Election Day: Kathmandu’s streets deserted (seven photos)

Kathmandu. The streets of Kathmandu are deserted today as many people in the valley have left for their home districts due to the election of the House of Representatives.

Vehicles have been banned in Kathmandu Valley as it is election day. Although only a few vehicles with passes have been allowed to ply, police and Nepal Army are carrying out strict checking.
