Gen G Martyrs Memorial Park to be built at International Sports Complex (Seven photos)

Kathmandu. The construction of the Zen G Martyrs Memorial Park has been started at the International Sports Complex, Satdobato, with statues of 42 of the 45 martyrs who lost their lives during the Gen G movement on September 7 and 24.

The 124th board meeting of the National Sports Council (NSC) held under the chairmanship of the then Minister for Youth and Sports Bablu Gupta had allocated land for the construction of the park.

The memorial park, which will be built in a historic and original structure, will keep alive the contributions of the martyrs of the Gen-G movement for a long time.
