Traffic police take action against 898 people in 24 hours

Kathmandu. The traffic police have taken action against 898 drivers in the last 24 hours.

As of Monday morning, 80 drivers were arrested for drunken driving, 81 through CCTV and 46 for using red beacon in course of checking conducted by the Traffic Police in different parts of the Kathmandu Valley till Monday morning.

Similarly, 118 drivers were taken for speeding, 37 for not wearing horns, 12 for lane crossing, 20 for not being in good condition, four for one-way traffic and 500 for others.
