Kathmandu. On the occasion of worship of Vishwakarma Baba, bus drivers and bus owners worship their vehicles at the New Bus Park in Gongabu, Kathmandu.
As per the tradition of worshipping Vishwakarma as the God of vehicles, machines and tools, the drivers and businessmen cleaned the bus early in the morning and offered garlands, akshata, tika and prasad.TAG_OPEN_div_59
Worship is done with the wish that the vehicle should be safe, there should be no accident during the journey and success in business.
Due to Vishwakarma Puja, there was a lot of activity in the New Bus Park area since early morning. Special pujas and religious rituals have also been performed in various workshops, garages and transportation areas. In Nepal, Vishwakarma Puja is celebrated with reverence especially by people involved in the transport, industry, factories and technical sectors.
