Traffic police take action against 1,186 people in 24 hours

Kathmandu. In the last 24 hours, the traffic police have taken action against the drivers of 1,186 vehicles.

A total of 98 drivers were taken for drunk driving, 73 for driving through CCTV and 81 for using red beacon in course of checks conducted by the Traffic Police in different parts of the Kathmandu Valley till Monday morning.

Similarly, 149 drivers were taken for speeding, 52 for not wearing horns, 51 for lane crossing, 38 for not being in good condition, eight for one-way traffic and 636 for others.
