Gagan urges party line to help and coordinate with rain-affected people

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President Gagan Thapa has urged the party rank and file to help and coordinate with the people affected by the rains.

It has been raining all over the country for the last three years. Four people have died in landslides in Baglung due to incessant rains. Rivers have washed away bridges in different parts of the country. Stating that security is the first priority in the current situation, President Thapa urged the people to take into account the situation in their respective areas and actively engage in providing necessary support and coordination to the people who are in difficulty.

The Election Committee has already written to the Election Commission to fix new dates for the convention in various districts taking into account the local situation and the information issued by the Meteorological Department and the concerned bodies.
