NEPSE Index, Transaction Volume Rises

Kathmandu. The stock market, which fell for 3 consecutive days, remained stable today. The NEPSE index rose 0.26 points to close at 2,599.15 points.

Except for banks, development banks, finance, hydropower and investment, all the sub-indices declined. Shares of 139 companies rose today and 128 declined. Similarly, shares of 12 companies remained unchanged.

Shares of Sindhu Bikas Bank rose by 10.11 percent today. Shares of Sayapatri Hydropower fell by 9.66 percent on the day of the stable.

Today, the transaction amount has increased. Today, 12 million shares of 353 companies were traded for Rs 4.89 billion, compared to Rs 4.76 billion yesterday.
