Gagan Thapa to address Nepali Congress Madhes Assembly on February 19

Kathmandu. The Madhesh meeting of the Nepali Congress is scheduled to be held on February 19. Earlier, the meeting was scheduled to be held on May 7, but it was postponed by a day.

A meeting of the Madhes Province Work Execution Committee held on Saturday decided to organize the Madhes assembly in Janakpurdham on February 18. The meeting also decided to organize the Madhes assembly at Tirhutiya Gachhi in Janakpurdham on February 6.

Nitesh Kumar Gupta will be responsible for the publicity of the assembly while Yogendra Panjiyar will be responsible for the stage management. The meeting held extensive discussions on the preparation, management and organisational issues of the Madhes assembly and decided to invite the participants from all the 32 constituencies of Madhes province to make the assembly effective and successful.

Nepali Congress Madhes Province Publicity Department Chief Gupta informed that Nepali Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa will be the chief guest of the meeting.
