NEPSE continues to move

Kathmandu. The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index posted a double-digit fall on Tuesday. The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index continued the trend on Tuesday.

On the day, the NEPSE index decreased by 10.25 points to close at 2662.14 points. The Sensitive Float Index decreased by 1.26 points, while the Float Index decreased by 0.82 points and the Sensitive Float Index decreased by 0.56 points.

Along with the index, the transaction amount has also decreased. A total of 2,17,15,000 units of shares of 324 companies were traded 89,836 times on Tuesday.

The share price of Kalinchowk Darshan Limited increased by 6.36 percent on the day. Similarly, the share price of Arun Valley Hydropower Development Company has surged by more than 5 percent and the share price of RBB Focus 40 Mutual Fund has increased by about 4 percent. On the other hand, the share price of Corporate Development Bank fell the most by 5.24 percent.

Arun Valley Hydropower Development Company Ltd topped the list on the basis of turnover on Tuesday. The company’s shares worth Rs 45.28 crore were traded on the day. Similarly, Aankhu Khola Hydropower Company Ltd has traded shares worth Rs 400 million, while Reedy Power Company has crossed Rs 38.5 crore.

Out of 13 sub-groups, the indices of two sub-groups have increased while the indices of 11 sub-groups have decreased. The indices of mutual funds and trade sub-groups have increased slightly. The development bank sub-group index decreased by 1.15 percent on the day.
