All four gates of Pashupatinath temple to be opened from 2:00 am on Sunday

Kathmandu. The Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT) has said that all preparations for the Mahashivaratri festival have been completed. KATHMANDU: The works of decoration, security and management have been intensified at the Pashupatinath temple in view of the special festival.

According to the PADT, the number of devotees, saints and visitors from Nepal, India, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Myanmar is on the rise. The Pashupati area has been decorated with flowers and lamps.

According to the PADT, it has been decided to open all the four gates of the temple from 2:00 am on Sunday to make arrangements for systematic darshan. It has also been claimed that special arrangements have been made so that the devotees do not have to stand in long queues.

Security has been tightened as the number of visitors has increased. Teams of Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force Nepal and National Investigation Department have been mobilized. It is also said that the fund’s own security team has also been deployed.
