Sandeep Lamichhane registers for ‘The Hundred’ cricket auction

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepali cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane has been selected for the ICC Cricket Tournament ‘The Hundred’ to be held in England.

According to the list made public by the tournament organizers, Sandeep has registered his name in the foreign player (other) category for a base price of 31,000 pounds. About 1000 players from 18 countries have registered their names for the auction.

The auction will be held on March 11 and 12. Lamichhane had earlier joined the Oval Invincibles team in 2021 for a fee of 100,000 pounds. But at that time, he had not played any games.
