Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index declines

Kathmandu. All the stock market indices rose on Tuesday. The NEPSE index increased by 21.5 per cent compared to the previous day. It has increased by 62 points.

After this increase, it has reached 2638 points. In the previous day, NEPSE had increased by 2 points. Despite the rise in the NEPSE index, the transaction volume has decreased. The transaction was Rs 5.13 billion in the previous day, which was Rs 4.23 billion today. The turnover was Rs 6.69 billion on Sunday.

While the price of 213 companies increased, 42 declined, while 6 remained unchanged.

Hotel and tourism group index was the highest at 2. It increased by 02 percent. Banking 0.30, Development Bank 1.11, Finance 0.64, Hydropower 1.27, Investment 0.61, Life Insurance 0.70, Production and Processing 1.76, Microfinance 0.79, Non-Life Insurance 0.52, Others 0.33 and Trade 1.80. It increased by 49 percent.

Salpa Bikas Bank saw the biggest increase of 10 percent. Similarly, the price of Reliance Spinning Mills increased by 9.31 per cent, Himalayan Power Partner by 9.15 per cent, Sagar Distillery by 8.96 per cent and Bandipur Cable Car by 8.34 per cent.

Nepal SBI Bank Ltd (NBBL) was the biggest loser by 3.58 percent. Among the most traded companies today are SY Panel, Ankhukhola Hydropower Company, Radhi Electricity, Ngadi Group and Reedi Power.
