Those who made Singha Durbar a hub of corruption burnt the country: NC President Lamichhane

Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane has accused those who have made Singha Durbar a hub of corruption.

Addressing a ‘We have come, change announcement meeting’ held in Chitwan on Friday, he said that they have been accused of burning the country.

“We are also accused of burning down the country. I would like to clarify again. The structure was first set on fire in the chest and head of the younger students who came in school uniform. The structure should not have been burnt, but people should not have been shot and killed. Those who made Singha Durbar a den of corruption, shot children, burnt Singha Durbar. Therefore, those who burnt down Singha Durbar and shot children are the same people, they are the same group and they belong to the same caste. ’

Targeting Nepali Congress President Gagan Thapa, he said that it has been 658 days since he was told that there was evidence against him. He claimed that the RSP would take the international relations to a new height by setting a new record of good governance. He said that international relations and partners will not be a vessel to beg, but a situation to be created.

He said, “Today is the 658th day that the evidence is against me. It’s been a long time since my last wish was asked. I didn’t answer that. I am saying from Chitwan today that my last wish is to show it in the ballot paper on March 21. This incident has brought the country to this situation today. That tragic event has to be taken to a happy destination. No one should be afraid of us. We will set a new record of good governance. We will take our international relations to a new height. It is not a vessel to ask for international relations and partners. We create a situation where we have to do it. We don’t build the country by begging. ’

“The country will fail if the leadership fails to deliver what history demands,” he said. We are in such a situation. Now we don’t have the liberty to fail. Whoever is in a political party. It is not that the faith of the political party should be abandoned. Just to change the vote this time because so many young candidates under the age of 30 have never been in history. RSP is a party of youths, women, Genji, Janjatis, Tharus, martyrs and injured professionals. ’
