Influence of westerly low pressure system persists, rain forecast in three provinces today

Kathmandu. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there is some influence of the westerly low pressure system in the upper atmosphere of Nepal. As a result, generally cloudy weather will occur in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. Fog is likely to prevail at a few places in the Terai region.

Foggy weather is likely to occur at some places of the Tarai region in the morning today. The weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly region of the country. There will be partly cloudy in the hilly regions and mainly fair in the rest of the country. The weather will be mainly fair in the Tarai region.

Light rain will occur at some places of the mountainous region of Koshi Province and Gandaki Province while light rain along with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at one or two places of the mountainous region of Gandaki Province. Light rain will occur in the high hilly region of Koshi Province and Gandaki Province.

Fog will occur in few places of Tarai region tonight. The weather will be generally cloudy in the mountainous region of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali provinces. The weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly region of Koshi and Gandaki province.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, light rain accompanied by lightning and snowfall is likely at one or two places of the mountainous region of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali provinces.
