Election Commissioner Sagun Shumsher Rana casts his vote

Kathmandu. Election Commissioner Sagun Shumsher Rana cast his vote at a polling booth in Kathmandu.

They cast their ballots at the Basic Health Service polling centre in Tokha municipality-4 of Kathmandu on Thursday morning. Talking to media persons after casting his vote, he appealed to all voters to take part in the voting. Stating that security has been tightened, he appealed to all to participate in the election process without fear.

Elections are taking place today for 165 constituencies under first-past-the-post (first-past-the-past) electoral system and 110 constituencies under proportional representation. A total of 65 political parties are contesting under the first-past-the-post election symbol
