Light rain or snowfall is likely to occur in some places with fair weather today

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said the weather will be generally clear in most parts of the country today.

The weather will be partly cloudy in the mountainous region of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces with the possibility of light rain or snowfall in one or two places. Light rain is predicted in some places while the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly region. The weather in the Tarai region of these provinces will be mainly clear.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather will be mainly clear throughout the day in the Tarai region of Madhes Province. Similarly, the weather will be partly cloudy in the mountainous region of Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province with the possibility of light rain or snowfall in one or two places.

The weather will be partly cloudy in the mountainous region of Lumbini Province with the possibility of light rain or snowfall in one or two places of the hilly region and mainly fair in the Tarai region. Likewise, the weather will be mainly clear in the hilly and mountainous areas of Karnali province with chances of light rain or snowfall in one or two places.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather will be generally clear in the mountainous and hilly areas of the Sudurpaschim province although there is possibility of light rain or snowfall in one or two places. Weather in Tarai region of the province is likely to remain clear.
