RSP leading in 14 constituencies in Kathmandu Valley

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU — The Rastriya Stamtantra Party (RSP) has taken the lead in 14 out of 15 constituencies in the Kathmandu Valley in the initial counting of the House of Representatives elections.

The RSP is leading in 10 constituencies in Kathmandu while in two and 2 in Lalitpur and Bhaktapur.

Ranju Darshana in Kathmandu-1, Sunil KC in Kathmandu-2, Rajunath Pandey in Kathmandu-3, Pukar Bam in Kathmandu-4, Sasmit Pokharel in Kathmandu-5, Shishir Khanal in Kathmandu-6, Ganesh Parajuli in Kathmandu-7, Biraj Bhakta Maharjan in Kathmandu-8, DP Aryal in Kathmandu-9 and Pradeep Bista in Kathmandu-10.

Similarly, Jagadish Kharel and Toshima Karki have taken the lead in Lalitpur-2 and 3. Nepali Congress candidate Udaya Shumsher Rana is leading in Lalitpur-1.

In Bhaktapur, the Rastriya Samajwadi Party (RSP) candidates are leading in both the constituencies. Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RSP)’s Rukesh Ranjit is leading in constituency-1. Nepal Workers and Peasants Party (NWPP) leader Prem Suwal is following him. Similarly, in Bhaktapur-2, Rajiv Khatri is leading while Mahesh Basnet of CPN-UML is trailing.
