Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RPP) President and lawmaker from Chitwan constituency-2, Rabi Lamichhane, has said that the party would move ahead by fulfilling the promises made to the citizens.
Talking to media persons after receiving the certificate from the Election Office, Lamichhane, who was elected from Chitwan constituency-2 with 54,402 votes, said that history has given them a big responsibility and they will move ahead without panic in the coming days.
President Lamichhane said he was aware of the general expectation of the citizens and would move ahead by accommodating all. He said that he was happy that the results of this level came in their favor and that they were in dialogue on the issues that the people wanted.
He said he was aware that their situation would be like that of some political parties if they failed to live up to the people’s expectation. “The road ahead is not easy, but it is not impossible either, we will go ahead in a wise way, not in panic,” Lamichhane said, adding, “We will respect those who have different opinions and will not chase anyone.” ’
He urged his cadres not to misbehave with anyone and always respect others.
