Sagar Dhakal wins in Gulmi-1 with 15,000 votes

Kathmandu. Sagar Dhakal, candidate of Rastriya Swatantra Party, has been elected to the House of Representatives from Gulmi constituency-1 with a huge margin.

According to the final results, Dhakal has secured 30,448 votes. His nearest rival Chandra Bhandari of Nepali Congress got 13,731 votes while his nearest rival Pradeep Kumar Gyawali got 15,328 votes.

Dhakal defeated his nearest rival Gyawali by 15,120 votes.

With this result, the Rastriya Swatantra Party has achieved a remarkable victory in Gulmi-1. Although there was competition among the candidates of the major political parties in the election, Dhakal maintained his lead from the beginning and eventually ensured victory with a wide margin.
