Kathmandu. The counting of votes under the proportional representation system under the House of Representatives election has reached the final stage. Election Commission Spokesperson Narayan Prasad Bhattarai said that the counting of votes in Ilam-1 and Gorkha-1 is underway.
He said that after the counting of votes in the last two constituencies, the EC will inform the political parties today itself about the number of seats received according to the cluster.
Bhattarai said that the EC will inform the political parties about the number of candidates of which party and how many of them are in which cluster.
So far, it has not been confirmed how many candidates of which party have been elected under the proportional representation system. However, he said that the number will be confirmed after 12 noon.
