Kathmandu. A total of 1,49,090 Election Police personnel deployed for the security of the House of Representatives elections held on March 4 are to bid farewell today.
Today, the Election Police will be honored with a certificate of thanks and a promise to help the country in times of need.
They were admitted for 40 working days and the deadline is expiring today.
A total of 149,090 election police personnel including 133,980 under the Nepal Police and 15,110 under the Armed Police Force (APF) were mobilized this year.
A farewell programme for the Armed Police Force (APF) has also been scheduled today.
