Kathmandu. Nicholas Pandey has been elected the president of the Federation of Contractors’ Associations of Nepal (FCAN). Pandey garnered 514 votes to win the post of president. His closest rival was NC’s closest contender Ang Dorji Lama who got 413 votes.
Likewise, Ramji Panta has been elected to the post of senior vice-president with 474 votes while Shiva Hari Ghimire has been elected to the post of General Secretary with 527 votes. His closest contender Balibhadra Rana got 380 votes.
Likewise, Mangal Shahi has been elected as the policy deputy general secretary and Santosh Shah as the internal deputy general secretary. Ujjwal Gautam has been elected the Treasurer and Upendra Ghising the Deputy Treasurer. Ganga Pokharel has been elected the woman vice-president.
The election results have brought clarity to the FNCCI’s leadership structure and is expected to focus on business activities and reforms in the new term.
