Prime Minister Balen’s best wishes on Mata Tirtha Aunsi: ‘I want to see Mother Nepal smile’

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Balen Shah has extended best wishes to all the mothers on the occasion of Mata Tirtha Aunsi. In a social media post on Friday, he said that the glory of mother and motherland is higher than heaven.

Quoting the scripture ‘Janani Janmabhumischa Swargadapi Gariyasi’, the Prime Minister said that the lap of a mother is warm and the feet of a mother is as pure as a pilgrimage. He has described the mothers as a unique example of love and sacrifice and wished for the long life of all mothers.

He has expressed his respect to his mother as the first teacher of life and the source of eternal love. “May we always make mothers feel proud through their deeds as children,” said the Prime Minister, “May we always make our mothers laugh and we can always be proud of the deeds of our children.”

In his best wishes, he added patriotism along with motherly devotion and said, “Hey Janani1, I want to see Nepal Mother laughing.
