Kathmandu. Universities have decided to provide transcripts within 15 days of the publication of the results. The decision was signed by the vice-chancellors of all universities on April 2 in the presence of Minister for Education, Science and Technology Sasmit Pokharel.
“In order to make the publication of the examination results of the campuses and universities predictable, it was decided to create a result portal of the Examination Control Office of the universities and to provide the transcript within 15 days of the publication of the results,” reads the decision.
The meeting also decided to form a committee under the coordination of Secretary of the University Grants Commission (UGC) to refine the national academic calendar for the effective implementation of the national academic calendar.
It has been decided to establish a multi-channel system in which complaints can be registered through phone, mobile app, portal and social sites to address the complaints, suggestions and requests of service seekers in a prompt, effective and result-oriented manner.
In order to make the students downloadable their academic certificates in mobile app or email, the university will prepare the necessary portal and connect it with the citizen app within 15 days.
