Kathmandu. The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RJP) has instructed its lawmakers to maintain uniformity in the documents of MPs’ letterheads and cards. They have also been instructed not to address them as ‘honourable’ in any of their documents.
The directive was issued in an informal meeting held at the parliamentary party office in Singha Durbar on Wednesday, said party spokesperson Manish Jha. Stating that there is a lot to be learned by the lawmakers, the RSP has advised all the lawmakers to practice mentors and advisors and take as many advice and suggestions as possible.
“We have directed no one to make any commitment regarding the ticket of the upcoming election as the candidate club will be practiced from May 20 for the selection of suitable candidates and for pre-election training,” the party said in a directive. The RSP has also warned of taking action if such wrong practices are found against the directives.
Earlier, a video of lawmaker Bishwaraj Pokharel reprimanding the school principal for not welcoming him as honorable in the district went viral.
