Kathmandu. Minister for Foreign Affairs Shishir Khanal and Indian Foreign Minister Dr. S. He will leave for India today at the invitation of Jaishankar.
The visit is expected to further strengthen historical and multifaceted bilateral relations between Nepal and India.
Issuing a press release on Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs made public the schedule of Khanal’s official visit to India. During the visit, Minister Khanal met his Indian counterpart Dr. He will hold official bilateral talks with Jaishankar. On the occasion, the Foreign Ministers of the two countries will hold in-depth discussions on various matters of mutual interest between Nepal and India.
The talks will focus mainly on trade, investment, connectivity, energy cooperation and strengthening and expanding people-to-people relations. The visit will be an important link in taking mutual cooperation and understanding between Nepal and India to a new height.
Minister Khanal is scheduled to return Kathmandu on June 7 after completing all the official visits.
