Kathmandu. On the first trading day of the week, the NEPSE index again decreased. The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index decreased by 20.27 points to close at 2,735.14 points on Thursday.
In today’s trading, the share prices of most companies have fallen. A total of 9,236,677 units of shares of 356 companies were traded and total transaction was Rs 4.08 billion.
Except for finance, all other groups have declined. Other and trading sectors have decreased by more than one percent.
Out of the companies traded today, the share prices of 43 increased while 221 declined. The prices of 6 companies remained unchanged.
Kalinchowk Hydropower Ltd (14.99 percent) and Crest Micro Life Ltd (13.11 percent) earned the highest profit.
On the basis of turnover, Central Finance was the top performer with shares worth Rs 20.46 crore.
