Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Metropolitan Police Force (KMC) has slapped a fine on the charge of digging up a footpath at Jamal area of Ward No. 1.
Issuing a notice today, the municipal police slapped a fine of Rs 1 lakh on Sherpa Holding Food and Beverage Pvt Ltd.
According to the Metropolitan Police, the action was taken against the company after it was found that the mining was damaged on the footpath at Jamal without permission.
