Mahabir Pun appointed Minister for Science and Technology

Kathmandu. Independent lawmaker Mahabir Pun has been appointed as a minister. The government has appointed Pun as the Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation.

According to a government minister, Pun will be sworn in as a minister today.

Sudhan Gurung will also be sworn in as the Home Minister along with Pun. Gurung resigned from his post on April 9 after questions were raised about his assets.

Gurung is preparing to return to the post of Home Minister. An official at the Office of the President said that the Office of the Prime Minister has informed that preparations should be made for the swearing-in ceremony of Gurung and Pun.
