Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Chairman of the Labour and Culture Party, Harka Sampang, has commented that the government has not been able to carry out works in a way that the citizens feel in 100 days.
After inaugurating a suspension bridge in a remote village of Darchula district and returning to Kathmandu today, Chairman Sampang gave his views on the government’s performance at Tribhuvan International Airport. Recalling that they had suggested to the government to control price hike which has swept the country, he said the works carried out by the government in the past 100 days were not as per people’s expectation.
Rai said his party has been demanding to control price rise. He said that the government has reduced the price of petroleum products in recent times and supported this decision.
Meanwhile, preparations are underway to unveil the works carried out by the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) led government led by senior leader Balendra (Balen) Shah in 100 days tomorrow. According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the government is preparing to make public the list of achievements made in the 100 days along with a review of the works carried out by the government.
Tomorrow marks 100 days since the formation of the incumbent government. The Shah-led government had unveiled 100 agendas of governance reforms on March 26.
