Kathmandu. Prime Minister Walendra Shah has announced that the government will not implement the 3 percent parity tax that was announced to be imposed in the private education and health sector for the time being. In a social media post, he said that the tax has been postponed in view of the frustration of the general public and the additional financial burden.

According to Prime Minister Shah, Finance Minister Dr. The government has decided not to implement the education and health parity fees for the time being after necessary consultation with Dr. Swarnim Wagle.

According to him, the government initially introduced the concept of this tax with the objective of providing access to education and health to the people of remote and backward areas.
