Kathmandu. Minister for Education and Sports and government spokesperson Sasmit Pokharel is scheduled to interact with journalists covering political issues in various media today.
The interaction to be held at the Ministry at 3:00 pm will discuss the problems seen in information flow, challenges, policy reforms and making coordination between the government and media more effective.
According to the Ministry, ideas will be exchanged on ways to make government information flow systematic, transparent and effective, challenges faced by journalists in course of news dissemination and making information flow more easy and credible.
Journalists who watch the political beat in various media have been invited to the interaction.
Minister Pokharel has been in regular dialogue with various stakeholders related to education and media sector, media, journalists of education and political beat, educational institutions and representatives of private sector in recent period, giving priority to policy reforms, transparency and effective coordination based on suggestions.
The Ministry has expressed the belief that such talks would further strengthen cooperation between the government and the media.
