Traffic police take action against 641 people in 24 hours

Kathmandu. In the last 24 hours, the Traffic Police has taken action against the drivers of 641 vehicles.

As of Sunday morning, 80 drivers have been taken for drunken driving, 77 drivers for driving under the influence of alcohol and 28 for driving under the influence of red light, in course of security checks conducted by the Traffic Police in different parts of the Kathmandu Valley till Sunday morning.

Similarly, 142 drivers were taken for speeding, 18 for not wearing horns, two for lane crossing, 25 for not being in good condition, four for one-way traffic and 265 for others.
