KATHMANDU: The Agriculture and Forestry University (AFU), Rampur, Chitwan has postponed all examinations scheduled for today (Thursday) due to adverse weather and natural calamities.
According to a notice issued by the Registrar of the University, Prof Dr. Subir Singh, the examination has been postponed keeping in mind the information received from the Ministry of Education and Sports and the adverse situation created by the current natural disaster.
The university has stated that the new schedule of the postponed examination will be published as soon as possible.
Similarly, the university family has expressed deep sorrow over the huge loss of life and property caused by the devastating floods and landslides in different parts of Nepal on Wednesday. Registrar Singh also expressed his commitment that the university family is with the affected community in this hour of crisis.
