Rs 19.15 billion for election purposes, Rs 6.35 billion released

. The Ministry of Finance has allocated Rs 19.15 billion for the upcoming elections, of which Rs 6.35 billion has already been released.

{{TAG_OPEN_p_3} The Election Commission has been given resource approval of Rs 4.96 billion on November 3, Rs 1.77 billion on December 3 and a total of Rs 6.73 billion as per other dates. So far, Rs 6.31 billion has been released to the commission.

The National Investigation Department (NID) has been given Rs 28.0 million on November 3, Rs 44.25 million for the purchase of equipment to the Nepal Army on November 3 and Rs 1.94 billion on December 30. The Ministry of Home Affairs and its subordinate bodies have been provided source consent amounting to Rs 10.39 billion.
