Hearing on writ petition against cancellation of Resham Chaudhary’s candidacy

. The writ petition filed against the candidacy of Resham Lal Chaudhary, patron of Nagarik Unmukti Party, has been fixed for hearing.

A division bench of Justices Sapana Pradhan Malla and Abdul Aziz Muslim will hear the case.TAG_OPEN_p_3 Earlier, a single bench of Justice Bal Krishna Dhakal had ordered the Election Commission to respond in writing on Chaudhary’s writ. Both sides were invited to appear to discuss the interim order.

Chaudhary had filed his nomination for the House of Representatives election from Kailali constituency-1 on March 4.TAG_OPEN_p_2 However, the Election Commission has rejected his candidacy.
