Kathmandu. Nepali Congress (NC) from Nawalparasi Constituency No. Binod Chaudhary, candidate for the House of Representatives from Province 1, has said that the politics of factionalism in the Nepali Congress has ended.

Bardaghat Ward No. Speaking at a meeting of NC cadres in Province 7 here today, leader Dahal said that a third party used to take advantage of factional tendencies in the party in the past.

Stating that the NC was moving ahead with a clear agenda of development and prosperity, Chaudhary said stable government, economic transformation and employment generation were the top priorities of the party.

He said that he was fully aware of the local problems and needs, saying there was no new face in the constituency for the election.

He admitted that he had only 30 months to work in his five-year term as a parliamentarian, adding that there was still a lot of work to be done. “There is a commitment to complete the remaining work,” he said.

According to Chaudhary, the biggest problem in his area was the issue of citizenship, which the Nepali Congress has resolved in the last 30 months. He said that the land related works are also progressing at a rapid pace. Stating that these achievements have laid the foundation for development in the region, he pointed out the need to give it further momentum.
