Nepal Telecom expands 4G services to 749 municipalities

.  Nepal Telecom (NTC) has expanded access to 4G service in 749 local levels across the country. On the occasion of the 22nd anniversary of Nepal Telecom, Secretary at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Laxmi Kumari Basnet, said that all municipalities except four have access to 4G service.

Stating that quality service has been provided by embracing new technology and research, he said high-speed internet has been available even in rural areas with the expansion of fiber to the home service.TAG_OPEN_p_1 According to him, there is a need to build more infrastructure to increase the access of digital services in remote areas.
