Home Ministry directs Assistant CDOs to monitor code of conduct in an impartial and fearless manner

. KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Home Affairs has directed the Assistant Chief District Officers of all 77 districts designated as the election code of conduct monitoring officers to discharge their responsibilities in an effective, impartial and fearless manner.

Issuing a circular, the Ministry has asked the Ministry to take necessary steps to prevent violation of the election code of conduct and to send regular reports of the activities carried out during the monitoring.

Home Ministry Spokesperson Anand Kafle said that the Election Commission has assigned Assistant Chief District Officer as monitoring officers at the district level to ensure the effective implementation of the election code of conduct-2082.TAG_OPEN_p_2
